Blooms-Taxonomy.png

We are dedicated to creating leaders of tomorrow with higher-order thinking skills who will revolutionize the future.

Higher-order thinking skills encompass critical thinking, creativity, problem-solving, and innovation. These skills are essential in today's complex and interconnected world, where the ability to analyze, synthesize, and evaluate information is crucial. We empower our students to adapt to new challenges, think critically, identify opportunities, adapt to the changing world, and contribute positively to society.

Paramjyoti School is committed to providing a world-class education that prepares our students to excel on the global stage.

Paramjyoti School is an ICSE-affiliated School and is also progressing towards affiliation with Cambridge Assessment International Education.

JUNIOR SCHOOL

There are around 100 students from Reception to Grade 5. Each grade has 20 students with a maximum of 25. All grade levels in Junior School have their homeroom teacher and other specialist teachers come in to teach Music and PE.

Our Junior School runs the Inquiry-Based Learning and has high literacy and numeracy standards at 70% benchmark to progress to the next level. This standard has been employed to make sure children are ready for the Cambridge Curriculum benchmarks required in grades 7&8. There are plenty of inputs to reflect the history, geography, and culture of India, as well as to have a global perspective. Formative and summative assessments take place throughout the year from respective academic expectations and the units of inquiry to understand each student's progress. Parents are updated on the progress via the app and one on one meetings with the Homeroom teacher and Junior School Coordinator.

JUNIOR HIGH

Middle and Senior School, includes Standards 7 to 10. The number of students in each class ranges from 15 to 25. Each class in Middle School has a PD (Personal Development) tutor, who functions as a class teacher as well. The PD tutor functions as the first point of contact for his/her students.

Students learn subject lessons according to the ICSE curriculum and the Cambridge Assessment International Examinations curriculum. The PD tutors take up teaching PSHE (Personal, Social, Health, and Economic) courses as well.

Students in Middle School learn all subjects offered by the curriculum, including Telugu and Hindi. However, in Standard 9, they must choose to do one Indian language (Hindi) as an option.

Towards the end of the academic year, students of Standard 8 are introduced to the Subject Options available for the IGCSE course covered in Standards 9 and 10. Before the end of the academic year, they are expected to choose their IGCSE subjects with the help of their parents, according to a set of options the school provides. These include English Language, Mathematics, Science, Global Perspectives, and Business studies.

We believe in nurturing well-rounded individuals.
As students progress through our High School, they not only build a solid academic foundation but also develop essential life skills. We prepare our students for higher education and the challenges of the professional world, ensuring that they are equipped with the knowledge and confidence to pursue their dreams.
